Timeless Images, Forever Memories

Long after the session, these images remain.

We deliver family photos in Winnipeg that don’t just look beautiful, but hold deep meaning for your family.

Every session is two looks — two backgrounds, two lighting setups, two outfits — because a family portrait shouldn’t come home as one photograph in four sizes. That’s how every session runs, whatever you choose afterwards.

From framed prints to albums, these are the memories you’ll look back on for years to come — the ones that end up on the wall, and stay there.

Every family has its own story. We’re here to tell yours.

Questions

Frequently asked.

What should we wear for our family session?+

Bring two outfits per person — every session is photographed as two distinct looks, so everyone changes once partway through. Coordinating colours with minimal patterns works best, and we’ll go through your choices with you on the planning call before the day.

How long does a family session typically last?+

Ninety minutes for one family, up to two hours for two families together, and up to two and a half for three or more. Larger groups get more time because the changeover between looks is staged rather than everyone moving at once.

Where do the sessions take place?+

In our private studio at 68 Albert Street, in Winnipeg’s Exchange District — a heritage space with fifteen-foot ceilings and twelve-foot windows, closed to everyone but your family for the length of your session. Studio light also means the weather never changes your plans.

Can we include pets in our session?+

Absolutely. Pets are part of the family, and we’d love to include them. Just let us know in advance so we can plan the setups around them.

What if my kids don’t cooperate during the session?+

Don’t worry. Kids can be unpredictable, and we work with their natural energy to capture genuine moments. We keep sessions fun and relaxed so kids feel at ease.

Can grandparents and extended family join?+

Please bring them. Multi-generation sessions are some of the most meaningful work we do, and the studio is built for larger groups. Tell us who’s coming when you inquire so we allow the right amount of time.

How far in advance should we book?+

We recommend booking at least 1 to 2 months in advance, especially during busy seasons, to secure your preferred date and time.

What happens after the session?+

About two weeks later you’ll come back to the studio for your Reveal. We go through the finished, fully retouched images together on a large viewing screen, talk through which ones belong on a wall and which belong in an album, and you choose your collection from there. You’re never left alone with a link and a hundred files to sort through.

How many photos will we receive?+

That’s yours to decide at the Reveal. We photograph both looks thoroughly, retouch everything worth keeping, and then you choose the images and the collection that suit your family and your walls — rather than being handed a number decided in advance.

How much retouching is included?+

All of it. Every image you take home is retouched by hand by our retoucher — skin, stray hairs, creased fabric, anything distracting in the frame. It’s the standard, not an upgrade.

What if we need to reschedule?+

Life happens. If you need to reschedule, give us at least 48 hours’ notice and we’ll find a new date that works for everyone.

How do we book?+

Start with the family inquiry form and tell us who we’re photographing. Our family guide arrives in your inbox straight away, and we’ll call you within two business hours to find a date.
